Since the HFG-RDS02 remote desktop is actually running from a virtual server, restarting your computer won't help if something is going wrong on the remote desktop. Closing the remote desktop window will also not accomplish this, your session will stay alive just as you left it on the server. You will need to actually sign out of the remote desktop for it to refresh itself. 



To do this you will need to go to the Start Menu in the remote desktop window and click the grey circle with the person outline (that is above the gear wheel settings menu) and click Sign Out.




Then wait a few seconds before relaunching the HFG-RDS02 remote desktop. This won't fix every issue but it the remote desktop equivalent of restarting your computer.
