To send an electronic fax via email, you need to be a member of the "RA Fax", "RS Fax", "RA Supervisors", or "WZN Intake" shared mailboxes, or have an individual e-fax number. You can send an eFax like any normal shared mailbox email in Outlook. If you have a personal e-fax number, you can skip to Step 2.

Step 1:

First you must make sure you have the "From" field enabled in outlook.

  1. Start a new email
  2. Select the "Options" tab
  3. Click the 3 dots on the right
  4. Select "From", under Show Fields

Then you need to change the From address to the fax shared mailbox (RAfax@homesforgood.org, rsfax@homesforgood.org, RAsupervisors@homesforgood.org, or WXNintake@homesforgood.org).

Step 2:

Then for the "To" field you need to input:where "faxnumber" means the number you are sending the fax to but without the actual "+" sign (i.e. "15415551234@fax.g12com.com")

Then input whatever you want to fax and make sure you have a Subject.

The "cover page" will be the body of your email and any attachments will be additional pages on the fax.
